How To Show Program Name In Task Bar Icons In Windows 7

By default, Windows 7 only shows icons in task bar not any kind of text. You are new to Windows 7 and like Windows Vista style Task Bar or you just want that name of your program should appear next to icon of that program in the task bar. You can turn this feature on by a very simple trick.

Instructions:

1. Right click on any empty space on task bar or right click on Start button and choose “Properties”.
2. In the “Taskbar And Start Menu Properties” dialogue, click on “Taskbar” tab.
3. Now click on the drop down menu for “Taskbar buttons:” in that tab.
4. Choose your preferred options, and click on “OK” button and it works…
