By default settings in Windows, when you open any folder, it will open in the same window. But if you want every folder to open in a new window not in the same window and leaving the previous window open, you can change your computer’s settings to accomplish that.
Instructions:
- Open Folder options of your computer. You can open that by following methods:
- In Older Version of Windows
If you are using an older version of Windows then you click on “Start” button then on “Settings” and then click on “Control Panel.”
- In Newer Version of Windows
If you are using an newer version of Windows, then click “Start” button and then click on “Control Panel”.If your “Control Panel” is in “Category View”, click the option in the task panel which says “Switch to Classic View”.
- In Older Version of Windows
- Double click the “Folder Options” icon or Right click and then select properties.
- Click on the “General” tab.
