Sometimes when you are making a project you may need to see whether any of your connections are short or not. If you have a wire and you want to know if it is braked or not then you need to follow these instructions
- Rotate your Multimeter’s pointer and make it point toward beep sign, connect two Multimeter wires to two connections in which you want to see short connections if you hear a beep then there is short connection.
- The Multimeter will sound a beep if resistance of any components attached is less than a desired value that value depends on what type of Multimeter you are using. For General Purpose Multimeter’s the value is 50 ohm.
