How To Clear Browser Cache In Internet Explorer


When ever you visit any website on the internet, your browser save a copy of that website in its cache. Your bowser takes some disk space to save the cached webpages. So, if you are in need of disk space in your computer, then you can clear the cache from your browser. In Internet Explorer, You can clear this cache by following some easy instructions.

Instructions:

  1. In Internet Explorer 9
    • Click on the “Tools” icon, Choose “Safety” and then click on “Delete Browsing History”. You can also open the same by using shortcut “Ctrl + Shift + Del”.

    • It will open “Delete Browsing History” dialogue box.
    • Uncheck all the options except “Temporary Internet Options”.
    • Click on “Delete” button and you are done.
  2. In Internet Explorer 8
    • Open Internet Explorer, click on “Tools” menu and choose “Delete Browsing History” option. Here as well, you can use the shortcut “Ctrl + Shift + Del”.
    • It will open “Delete Browsing History” dialogue box.
    • Uncheck all the options except “Temporary Internet Options”.
    • Click on “Delete” button and you are done.
  3. In Internet Explorer 7
    • Open Internet Explorer, click on “Tools” menu and choose “Delete Browsing History” option.
    • In the “Temporary Internet Files” panel, click on “Delete Files”.
    • It will ask you for your permission, just click “Yes” to continue.
