Timeline is a new feature in Facebook and as per Facebook Blog “Timeline gives you an easy way to rediscover things you shared, and collect your most important moments“. It is a new kind of profile showing a number of improvements over the old profile. Overall its a very good improvement which shows your profile in more consistent and managed way. You can control what should be visible to your friends on your profile and lot more.
Earlier this month Facebook made this update available everywhere and now it is even available on Mobile devices like iPhone, iPod touch devices and some more. When you update your profile to Timeline, you can make any kind of setting to make Timeline profile look like as you wish. You will have 7-day review period during which you can make any kind of setting on your Timeline profile before it gets visible to your friends.
You can enable Timeline with a two click mechanism :
- Open the Timeline page on Facebook by clicking here.
- On the Timeline page, click on the Get Timelinegreen colored button to enable Timeline and you are done.
