Instructions:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the Webpage which you want to set as Home Page.
3. Now right click on the Home button and then select Add or change home page
   
4. It will open a Add or change home page dialogue.
5. Now if you want to set only this webpage as your Home Page, then select Use this webpage as your only home page.
   
6. And if you want to add this webpage to the list of Home Pages, then select Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
   
7. Click Yes to accept the changes.

Instructions:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. In Internet Explorer, click on View menu and then select Text and then select your required option to increase or decrease text in Internet Explorer.
   

1. Click on Tools button and then select Internet Options.
   
2. In the Internet Options dialogue, click on Programs tab. Now click on Make default button in that tab under Default web browser panel.
   
3. Click OK to accept changes.

4. It will open Delete Browsing History dialogue. Now check the option for Cookies and uncheck all the other options. After that click on Delete button to delete all the cookies.
   

Instructions:

1. When you open New Tab in Internet Explorer 9, you will see a number of square slices in the page and a number of links.
2. All the square slices have links to those website which you have visited a number of times in the Internet Explorer. If you want to open any of those website, just click on the square and it will take you to that website.
   
3. In the lower section of page you will see a number of links. If you click on the “Hide Sites” link, it will hide all the sites present in these square boxes. To show all those sites back again in those squares click the same link again which now reads “Show Sites”.
   
4. It also saves copy of all the websites opened when you closed the Internet Explorer 9 last time without closing every tab. If you want to open that session or all those sites which were opened in tabs while you closed IE last time, just click on the link “Reopen Last Session”.
   
5. If you want to surf the internet and don’t want Internet Explorer to save any information about the sites you will visit or in the other words, you want to surf the Internet privately then click on “InPrivate Browsing”.
   
6. If you have recently closed a tab and want to reopen that tab, then click on “Reopen Close Tabs” link, which will show you a drop down of all the tabs you have closed. You can just click on any of those links, and it will open that website in this tab. If you want to reopen all the websites then just click on the “Open All Closed Tabs” link in that drop down.
   

Instructions:

1. Open Control Panel from your Start Menu.
2. Switch to Classic View and then select “Programs And Features”.
3. In the left pane, Select “View Installed Updates”.
   
4. It will show you a list of all the updates you have made in your Windows.
5. Locate the entry for “Windows Internet Explorer 9”, and select this entry.
6. Either right click on it and then choose Uninstall or just click on Uninstall present at the top of window.

2. In the “Manage Add-ons” dialogue, click on the “Search Providers” in the left Panel in “Add-on types”.
3. It will show all the Search Providers you currently have installed in Internet Explorer.
4. Click on the search provider you want to make as default search provider for Internet Explorer. I am selecting Google Search.
5. Now click on the “Set As Default” button present on the lower right section of the window.
   
6. Close the dialogue box and you are done.

Instructions:

7. It will ask for confirmation, where you can set it as your default search provider, and also can set this search provider to show suggestions while typing in address bar. Check the required options and click on ADD.
8. It will ad this Google Search in the Search Providers list in the Manage Add-ons library.

1. Click On “Tools” Menu Item and choose “Internet Options” in previous version of Internet Explorer and in Internet Explorer 9, click on “Tools” button and select “Internet Options”.
   
2. In the Internet Options dialogue, click on “Privacy” tab and then click on “Advanced” button.
3. It will open “Advanced Privacy Settings” button.
4. Tick the check box for “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”.
5. Now select the corresponding value for “First-Party Cookies” and “Third-Party Cookies”.
6. Click “OK” to save the changes.
